Sven is very tall for his age. He has constant headaches that he dismisses as simply being dehydrated. Frequently, his vision blurs, and while it might be understandable that such things could occur in a boy who has lost one of his eyes, the sum of all the symptoms seems to necessitate another cause than that which Sven provides. Stress seems the most likely culprit.
The boy twitches. While overly violent episodes have since stopped a little while after arriving at Copper Valley Academy, he still has the occasional fit. These fits tend to be minor, but they are almost always noticed by others. To their credit, Sven’s close friends actively ignore such occurrences, but most are less inclined to let the twitches pass unquestioned. Sven refuses to answer those inquiries, and as such, he is very much a social pariah at his school, save for those who are his friends only by virtue of being friends with Bran or Kara.
At one point, shortly after arriving at Copper Valley, Sven seemed to put on a bit of weight. The young boy was notably depressed during this time, and there was little his friends could do to help him feel better. It only took a few days, though, and Sven was back to his old self, quickly losing the added weight and behaving much more upbeat in front of other people. Among his friends, this period is known to be when Sven was going through withdrawals from an alchemical poison he used to take to get high.
After graduating Copper Valley with his friends, Sven took up using a spear in combat, foresaking his old mace. When asked about the change, the man only shrugged and said it felt right.
